Fancy a nature outing just a few kilometers from Paris? Put on your sneakers and let yourself be tempted by the Yvelines! Here, over 70,000 hectares of woodland are at your disposal. Here, an exceptional diversity of landscapes awaits you: from the Seine valley in the north of the département to the agricultural plains of the south, via the majestic Vallée de Chevreuse. Whether you're a novice or an expert, there's something for everyone. And every time, there's a castle, historic monument or listed site nearby.

A natural heritage to preserve

The Yvelines Departmental Council is partnering with the Salomon EcoTrail Paris this year because it shares the same values of respect for nature and environmental protection. Its mission is to highlight the region’s natural assets to the general public so that people can learn how to better protect them through simple actions.
Starting the 120 km race from the Château de Rambouillet, the 80 km race from the Colline d'Élancourt, or the 45 km race from the Château de Versailles, you’ll traverse the Yvelines like you’ve never seen them before. And we bet you’ll come back to see us again!
