First of all, listen to your senses and your body. Are you tired? Are you aching? Depending on how you feel, you'll be able to determine the most optimal recovery strategy.

Immediately after exercise, it's essential to remember to rehydrate (recovery drink or water, as you prefer). If you feel hunger coming on, eat what pleases you and what you feel like eating. Your body knows what's good for you!

It's also a good idea to relieve your muscles with a few stretches and massages, perfect for getting rid of heavy legs! In your movements, focus on amplitude to promote blood circulation and release all forms of tension. Of course, be gentle with yourself and go no further than your limits to avoid any risk of tearing or injury. Wearing recovery shoes can also facilitate muscle rest.

Seb's advice: After a race like the EcoTrail Paris®, taking 3 or 4 days +/- without sport is not a luxury. It's also possible to do another sport to recover, such as swimming or cycling. You can also resume running, but at a slower pace for 45 to 50 minutes. When it comes to recovery, hydration (water, by the way) is important, as is diet to recharge your batteries.

Once your energy level is restored, we'll see you at a later date.
