Salomon and i-Run give a second life to your running gear
Do you run regularly and often buy new equipment for your races? Are you concerned about your environmental footprint but don't know how to recycle your old equipment? To mark the EcoTrail Paris 2023, Salomon and i-Run are offering you the chance to give a second life to your running equipment. Discover them now!
Salomon is committed to repairing your running gear
Maintaining and repairing the equipment of runners, whether elite or amateur, is part of Salomon's environmental charter for events and athletes. By extending the life of your equipment, Salomon is committed to reducing its environmental impact. After the Mont-Blanc Marathon and the UTMB, the Salomon repair stand will again be present at the EcoTrail Paris to extend the life of your equipment.
On March 16 and 17, Salomon will be setting up its repair stand in the Village Sport Planète, to take care of your damaged equipment.
T-shirt, jacket, backpack, hydration pack... all repairs are accepted except zipper changes!
Please remember to clean your equipment before bringing it in, otherwise it will not be accepted.

Bring your old pair of sneakers to the I-Run x Runcollect stand
I-Run and Runcollect have joined forces to create the i-Run Collectif program, which gives a second life to your running shoes by supportingsocial integration and sporting activities.
How does it work?
- Once collected, the shoes are sorted by disabled youngsters at the IME Jean-Jacques Rousseau in Vénissieurs (near Lyon).
- Depending on their condition, pairs are reused by young people practicing adapted sports, or redistributed by humanitarian associations to fit those in need.
- Shoes that cannot be reused are sent to a recycling center.
i-Run commitments
Since September 2022, i-Run has been donating 800 pairs of running shoes a month to Runcollect.
Take part in this project
You too can drop off your used running shoes at the collection point on the i-Run stand.
Instructions: low-top running, trail or hiking shoes, washed if possible. Maximum one pair per person.

Conclusion
Salomon and i-Run will be waiting for you at the Village Sport Planète of the EcoTrail Paris, so don't hesitate to drop in and take part in these sustainable initiatives. Each gesture can be the start of a more global movement.
