Drinking water from Paris, a simple gesture for the planet

Paris water is not only good for your health, it's also the most ecological and economical way to consume water in our daily lives.

Every year in France, 8.7 billion liters of water are bottled and consumed, and only one bottle in 2 is recycled. And yet, bottles are one of the main sources of ocean pollution.

Faced with the challenges of climate change and plastic pollution, Eau de Paris has launched the "Ici, je choisis l'eau de Paris" (Here, I choose Paris water) network, enabling Parisians and tourists to fill their water bottles free of charge with quality water in partner shops and venues. The scheme completes the network of 1,200 fountains and water points available throughout the city.
