The Syndicat des Eaux d'Ile-de-France (SEDIF) and Veolia Eau d'Ile-de-France, its delegate, are delighted to be associated once again with this event, for which more than 10,000 participants are expected to take part.
Throughout the trails, the Service Public de l'Eau will be installing drinking water tanks at various refreshment points (Parc du Château de Versailles, Parc de la Mare Adam in Chaville, Observatoire de Meudon and Parc de Saint-Cloud) to enable organizers to eliminate the use of bottled water and disposable cups. Runners will be provided with water bottles that they can easily refill.
SEDIF and Veolia Eau d'Ile-de-France serve some 4.6 million users in 7 departments of the Ile-de-France region. Its plants produce more than 740,000 cubic meters of water a day, and are among the most efficient in the world. Its distribution network covers more than 8,700 kilometers, the distance between Paris and Mexico City.
SEDIF is chaired by André Santini, former Minister, Vice-Chairman of the Greater Paris Metropolis and Mayor of Issy-les-Moulineaux.
