Les Vergers de Picardie

Producers, market gardeners & farm-pressed juices. Tanguy & Thiberge are brothers in their thirties, and have been city dwellers and young professionals. But while they grew up surrounded by nature and their father's orchards (L'abbaye de Margères), the call of the great outdoors and a return to the land became stronger. Both decided to return to the place where it all began... Douilly (a village in the Somme region of Hauts de France). Their return was above all motivated by the desire to move forward with a new approach and to produce ever more responsible harvests, but also to work alongside their fathers and perpetuate the family know-how, while having their own identity. New orchards (also in Douilly), new crops, but above all the desire to adopt a no-waste approach, by processing fruit on the farm. Juices, compotes & ciders are born. Runners will be lucky enough to find compote directly from Vergers de Picardie products at the feed stations.
